A pilot run is your first sellable product, a small batch that goes into real stores so you can see how customers respond.

Can I sell my hero samples?

No. Hero samples are professionally produced proof of concept units, and they aren't for sale. They look like the finished product, so buyers and investors see exactly what you're pitching.

How big is a pilot run?

Most pilot runs are 1 to 10 pallets. That's enough for a regional distribution trial or a retailer sell-in test, without tying up your cash in 55 pallets of inventory.

Why do a pilot run before a full production run?

A pilot run shows you what real customers think before you spend big. If people say it's a little too sweet, or your label isn't landing, you can change it while the stakes are still small. It also confirms that every ingredient and input works in a commercial run.

What comes after a pilot run?

Once your liquid is proven and you've signed a few regional distributors, the next step is early scale: your first full truckload, about 20 pallets, made on more automated equipment. From there, you can grow into high volume production.
