Whether you're just getting started or preparing for national distribution, MetaBrand provides a clear manufacturing pathway that grows alongside your business.
Hero Samples are professionally produced, non-saleable proof-of-concept units designed to support early-stage business development. These samples are packaged in your branded container and intended for investor presentations, retailer meetings, influencer outreach, and strategic sales conversations. Hero Samples allow brands to begin generating market interest and securing commercial opportunities before committing to production inventory.
Pilot manufacturing runs are smaller production batches built to validate your concept in the market. A pilot run gets your product onto shelves and into consumers' hands without committing to a truckload. Brands use pilot runs for regional distribution trials, retailer sell-in tests, and to confirm that every input works before they scale.
Consumers like your product, you've signed two or three distributors in your region, and you're ready to build your first full truckload. Production moves to more automated equipment, so your cost of goods starts to make sense while you still keep cash and inventory in check.
High-volume production is for established brands that need millions of units. Your product sells nationwide or through a few major retailers, and you reorder by the truckload for each SKU on a regular schedule. MetaBrand manages production planning, vendor coordination, and finished product quality control.
Whether you're launching a new product or scaling an established brand, we provide specialized manufacturing solutions tailored to your beverage type.
An RTD (ready-to-drink) cocktail is a pre-mixed alcoholic beverage sold ready to serve, usually in a can. Most are built on a spirit, wine, or malt base, and that choice decides how the drink is taxed and where it can be sold.
It depends on what matters most to you: flavor, price, or shelf access. Spirit bases taste the most like a bar cocktail, but they usually carry higher excise tax and face tighter distribution rules in some states. Wine and malt bases cost less and can get into grocery and convenience stores in more states. You give up some flavor authenticity in exchange. This is general information, not legal or regulatory advice.
Through the formula and the process together. Citrus flavors fade, oxygen dulls aromas, and acidic recipes can attack a standard can liner. We pick stable flavor systems, control dissolved oxygen at filling, and match the liner to your recipe, then test all of it before commercial production so the problems show up in our lab instead of on a retailer's shelf.
Yes. Alcoholic RTDs need a Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) from the TTB before interstate sale, some also need formula approval, and most states add their own registration. Our facility is FDA-registered and TTB-approved, and we prepare the formulation documents those filings require. This is general information, not legal or regulatory advice.
Yes. Classic cocktails are some of the most common RTD projects we take on. The hard part is keeping lime, salt, and sweetness in balance after the drink has sat in a can for months. That's why you taste and sign off on hero samples before anything goes into production.
It varies with formula complexity, label approvals, and packaging lead times. Approvals alone can add weeks, so start them while formulation is still underway. You'll get a realistic timeline for your product during your Free Formula Audit.
