Your Path From Concept to Commercial Scale

Whether you're just getting started or preparing for national distribution, MetaBrand provides a clear manufacturing pathway that grows alongside your business.

  1. Path 1

    Hero Samples

Hero Samples are professionally produced, non-saleable proof-of-concept units designed to support early-stage business development. These samples are packaged in your branded container and intended for investor presentations, retailer meetings, influencer outreach, and strategic sales conversations. Hero Samples allow brands to begin generating market interest and securing commercial opportunities before committing to production inventory.

  2. Path 2

    Pilot Manufacturing

Pilot manufacturing runs are smaller production batches built to validate your concept in the market. A pilot run gets your product onto shelves and into consumers' hands without committing to a truckload. Brands use pilot runs for regional distribution trials, retailer sell-in tests, and to confirm that every input works before they scale.

  3. Path 3

    Mid-Tier / Early Scale Co-Packing

Consumers like your product, you've signed two or three distributors in your region, and you're ready to build your first full truckload. Production moves to more automated equipment, so your cost of goods starts to make sense while you still keep cash and inventory in check.

  4. Path 4

    High-Volume Production

High-volume production is for established brands that need millions of units. Your product sells nationwide or through a few major retailers, and you reorder by the truckload for each SKU on a regular schedule. MetaBrand manages production planning, vendor coordination, and finished product quality control.

Can Packaging FAQ

What can sizes do you offer?

We manufacture across the full range of industry-standard aluminum can sizes, from 6.7 oz to 19.2 oz, in standard, sleek, and slim styles.

What is the minimum production volume for cans?

It depends on the can format and how it's decorated. Printed cans from can makers usually require large orders. Blank cans finished with labels or shrink sleeves allow much smaller runs. MetaBrand offers both small-volume and high-volume manufacturing, and we confirm your exact minimums during your Free Formula Audit.

Can you help with artwork and packaging specifications?

Yes. We supply dielines and printer specifications, and we check that the required label elements for your beverage type are on the artwork. Catching a spec error before printing is far cheaper than reprinting a pallet of cans.

Can you source printed cans?

Yes. We coordinate printed cans through our supplier network and time the order to your production schedule. Printed cans have longer lead times and higher minimums, so we order them early.

Can I start with small production runs?

Yes. Most new brands start with blank cans finished with pressure-sensitive labels or shrink sleeves. Once demand is proven, switching to printed cans lowers your per-unit cost.

Can you help me choose the right can size and format?

Yes. We look at your category, serving size, price point, and retail channel. The liner matters as well: acidic, alcoholic, or cannabis beverages may need a specialty liner such as aTULC.
