Your Path From Concept to Commercial Scale

Whether you're just getting started or preparing for national distribution, MetaBrand provides a clear manufacturing pathway that grows alongside your business.

  1. Path 1

    Hero Samples

Hero Samples are professionally produced, non-saleable proof-of-concept units designed to support early-stage business development. These samples are packaged in your branded container and intended for investor presentations, retailer meetings, influencer outreach, and strategic sales conversations. Hero Samples allow brands to begin generating market interest and securing commercial opportunities before committing to production inventory.

  2. Path 2

    Pilot Manufacturing

Pilot manufacturing runs are smaller production batches built to validate your concept in the market. A pilot run gets your product onto shelves and into consumers' hands without committing to a truckload. Brands use pilot runs for regional distribution trials, retailer sell-in tests, and to confirm that every input works before they scale.

  3. Path 3

    Mid-Tier / Early Scale Co-Packing

Consumers like your product, you've signed two or three distributors in your region, and you're ready to build your first full truckload. Production moves to more automated equipment, so your cost of goods starts to make sense while you still keep cash and inventory in check.

  4. Path 4

    High-Volume Production

High-volume production is for established brands that need millions of units. Your product sells nationwide or through a few major retailers, and you reorder by the truckload for each SKU on a regular schedule. MetaBrand manages production planning, vendor coordination, and finished product quality control.

Spirits FAQ

What spirits services does MetaBrand offer?

Formulation, blending, flavoring, and packaging for flavored spirits, blended spirits, and spirit-based RTDs. Our facility is FDA-registered and TTB-approved, and we stay with you from the first flavor concept through commercial production.

Can you help me create a flavored vodka, whiskey, or tequila?

Yes. The work is in balancing natural flavors, sweetness, and proof so the spirit tastes intentional instead of artificial. We also confirm that the flavor holds up at bottling strength over time, since some flavors fade or turn harsh in high-proof spirits.

Do I need to own a distillery to start a spirits brand?

No. Many spirits brands buy their base spirit from established producers and work with a partner for blending, flavoring, and packaging. You still need the right federal and state permits for your business model, so bring in a compliance specialist early. This is general information, not legal or regulatory advice.

What approvals does a new spirits product need?

At minimum, a Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) from the TTB before interstate sale. Many flavored spirits also need formula approval, and each state has its own registration and distribution rules. We prepare the formulation documentation for these filings. This is general information, not legal or regulatory advice.

What bottle sizes can spirits be sold in?

Only TTB-authorized sizes, such as 50 mL, 200 mL, 375 mL, 750 mL, and 1.75 L. The size you pick shapes your price point and where retailers will place you, so decide it before you design the label.

How much does it cost to develop a spirits product?

It depends on the base spirit, flavor complexity, packaging, and run size. Premium glass and custom decoration often make up a large share of the per-unit cost. We build planning ranges with you during your Free Formula Audit. Treat those early numbers as planning anchors, not quotes.
