Your Path From Concept to Commercial Scale

Whether you're just getting started or preparing for national distribution, MetaBrand provides a clear manufacturing pathway that grows alongside your business.

  1. Path 1

    Hero Samples

Hero Samples are professionally produced, non-saleable proof-of-concept units designed to support early-stage business development. These samples are packaged in your branded container and intended for investor presentations, retailer meetings, influencer outreach, and strategic sales conversations. Hero Samples allow brands to begin generating market interest and securing commercial opportunities before committing to production inventory.

  2. Path 2

    Pilot Manufacturing

Pilot manufacturing runs are smaller production batches built to validate your concept in the market. A pilot run gets your product onto shelves and into consumers' hands without committing to a truckload. Brands use pilot runs for regional distribution trials, retailer sell-in tests, and to confirm that every input works before they scale.

  3. Path 3

    Mid-Tier / Early Scale Co-Packing

Consumers like your product, you've signed two or three distributors in your region, and you're ready to build your first full truckload. Production moves to more automated equipment, so your cost of goods starts to make sense while you still keep cash and inventory in check.

  4. Path 4

    High-Volume Production

High-volume production is for established brands that need millions of units. Your product sells nationwide or through a few major retailers, and you reorder by the truckload for each SKU on a regular schedule. MetaBrand manages production planning, vendor coordination, and finished product quality control.

Wine FAQ

What kinds of wine beverages can you develop?

Wine spritzers, sangrias, flavored wines, and canned wine cocktails. Our Edison, New Jersey facility is FDA-registered and TTB-approved.

Can wine be packaged in cans?

Yes, and canned wine has grown because it's portable and portion-controlled. Wine can react with aluminum, though. Without the right liner and tight control of sulfites and oxygen, a canned wine can develop off-flavors within months. We test for this before production.

What is a wine spritzer or wine cocktail?

A wine spritzer is wine mixed with carbonated water, often with fruit flavor added. A wine cocktail blends wine with juices, botanicals, or other flavors into a ready-to-drink mixed beverage. Both usually come in at a lower ABV than a glass of wine.

How is a wine-based RTD regulated differently from a spirit-based RTD?

Wine-based beverages fall under TTB wine rules and are generally taxed at a lower federal rate than spirit-based products. Many states also let wine-based drinks into grocery stores where spirit-based drinks can't go. State rules differ widely, so confirm your plan with a compliance specialist. This is general information, not legal or regulatory advice.

How do you keep a canned or bottled wine product stable?

We control it at every step: formula, filtration, dissolved oxygen, and packaging. Skip any one of those and the wine can shift in flavor and color on the shelf. Hero samples give you a chance to taste the result before commercial production.

Can I launch a wine product with a small first run?

Yes. MetaBrand runs both small-volume and high-volume manufacturing. A small first run costs more per unit, and you'll see exactly how much more during your Free Formula Audit.
